Guidelines for
Selection
- Selection is conducted by
committee composed of at least three (3) local district or campus
educators who have received training in the nature and needs of gifted
students.
- Rules of confidentiality will be
observed at all times.
- A list of eligible students will be
compiled.
- Selection will be based on passing 3 of
5 of the criteria. Alteration of the criteria may be determined
by the Selection Committee if its effectiveness is judged inadequate.
- Written permission is secured from the
parent for acceptance into the program.
- Members f the Selection Committee will
serve as the Exit Committee.
