COMMUNICATOR INFORMATION The New Deal District Communicator is a laboratory experience for Journalism. Students write, layout and distribute the paper as part of course requirements. Formerly known as the "Friday Notes" first published by Nancy Cooper in 1982, The Communicator is distributed once a week on all NDISD campuses and various parts of the community during the school year. Approximately 1000 copies are printed weekly through the use of Pagemaker on Macintosh computers. Printing is done by The Plainview Daily Herald. Materials should be submitted by 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday prior to that of Friday Distribution.
